Travel: UAE, GCC and Africa as required
1. Position Summary
We are looking for a smart, energetic, confident, and results-driven IT Sales Manager to lead business development and sales activities across the UAE, GCC, and selected African markets.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in B2B IT sales, enterprise software sales, technology solutions, digital transformation, ERP, AI, automation, or system integration.
The IT Sales Manager will be responsible for generating new business, developing strategic accounts, managing the sales pipeline, engaging senior decision-makers, preparing and negotiating commercial proposals, closing deals, and achieving revenue targets.
The successful candidate should be comfortable engaging with C-level executives, business owners, IT heads, procurement teams, government entities, and other key decision-makers.
Strong Arabic communication skills are highly desirable but not mandatory. Candidates with excellent English communication skills and a strong track record in IT sales, particularly within the GCC market, are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities across the UAE, GCC, and African markets.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline covering prospects, active opportunities, and existing accounts.
- Generate qualified leads through direct outreach, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, exhibitions, conferences, partnerships, and other channels.
- Conduct proactive prospecting through phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, meetings, and business networking.
- Identify decision-makers and establish relationships with key stakeholders.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation and qualification through proposal, negotiation, closing, and handover.
- Consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales and revenue targets.
- Develop new market opportunities and identify high-potential industries and customer segments.
2. IT Solution Selling
Promote and sell the company's technology solutions, including:
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Solutions
- Digital Transformation Solutions
- Business Process Automation
- Intelligent Document Processing
- Face Recognition and Biometric Solutions
- Multilingual Voice and Conversational AI Solutions
- ERP and Enterprise Software Solutions
- Self-Service and Kiosk Solutions
- Custom Software Development
- System Integration Solutions
- Technology Consulting and Digital Services
Responsibilities include:
- Understand customer business challenges, processes, and technology requirements.
- Identify appropriate solutions from the company's technology portfolio.
- Conduct solution presentations and product demonstrations.
- Clearly communicate the business value, benefits, ROI, and commercial advantages of proposed solutions.
- Work closely with technical and pre-sales teams to develop solution proposals.
- Participate in discovery sessions, requirement discussions, workshops, and solution presentations.
- Maintain sufficient knowledge of the company's products, services, and technology capabilities.
3. Enterprise & Key Account Management
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with enterprise and strategic customers.
- Act as a key point of contact for assigned customers and strategic accounts.
- Understand customer business objectives, technology roadmaps, challenges, and future requirements.
- Develop account strategies to increase customer value and revenue.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, renewals, additional projects, and managed services.
- Establish relationships with multiple stakeholders within customer organizations.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively address business concerns.
- Build long-term relationships that support customer retention and account growth.
4. Sales Pipeline & CRM Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales opportunities in the CRM system.
- Track leads, opportunities, sales stages, probability, expected revenue, and closing timelines.
- Maintain proper sales activity records and follow-up schedules.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts and pipeline reports for management.
- Monitor sales performance against targets.
- Ensure timely follow-up on all leads, meetings, proposals, quotations, and negotiations.
- Analyze pipeline performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates.
5. Proposals, Negotiation & Deal Closure
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate the preparation of proposals, quotations, presentations, and commercial offers.
- Work with pre-sales, technical, project management, and finance teams to prepare suitable solutions and commercial proposals.
- Present proposals and conduct commercial discussions with customers.
- Lead negotiations on pricing, scope, payment terms, timelines, and commercial conditions within company guidelines.
- Follow up on submitted proposals and actively drive opportunities toward closure.
- Maintain accurate records of commercial negotiations and opportunity status.
- Ensure a smooth handover of closed deals to the implementation/project delivery team.
6. Strategic Partnerships & Channel Development
- Identify and develop relationships with:
- System Integrators
- IT Consultants
- Technology Partners
- Resellers
- Channel Partners
- Solution Providers
- Business Consultants
- Develop strategic partnerships that generate new leads and revenue opportunities.
- Explore channel sales and partner-led business opportunities.
- Support joint customer engagements, demonstrations, events, and marketing activities.
- Build a network of strategic partners across the GCC and African markets.
7. Market Development
- Identify new industries, customer segments, and geographic markets with strong potential.
- Research market trends, customer requirements, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
- Identify opportunities related to AI, automation, digital transformation, ERP, enterprise software, and emerging technology.
- Develop strategies for entering new markets and acquiring new customers.
- Provide management with regular feedback regarding market conditions, customer expectations, competitors, and business opportunities.
- Identify emerging customer needs and provide feedback to the management and product teams.
8. Client Meetings & Market Representation
- Conduct face-to-face and virtual meetings with prospective and existing customers.
- Engage confidently with C-level executives, business owners, IT managers, procurement teams, and other senior stakeholders.
- Deliver professional company and solution presentations.
- Conduct product demonstrations and business solution discussions.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, trade shows, networking events, and industry forums.
- Promote the company's solutions and strengthen its presence within target markets.
- Travel within the UAE, GCC, and Africa as required for business development activities.

The IT Sales Manager will be measured against key commercial and sales performance indicators, including:

Required QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Professional sales, technology, or business development certifications will be an advantage.
Experience
- 4–7 years of proven experience in B2B IT Sales, Technology Sales, Business Development, Enterprise Solution Sales, or a similar role.
- Experience selling IT solutions, ERP, software, AI, automation, digital transformation, system integration, or technology services is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience managing enterprise accounts and complex B2B sales cycles.
- Experience engaging with C-level executives, business owners, IT managers, procurement teams, and senior decision-makers.
- Experience working with UAE/GCC customers is highly desirable.
- Experience in African markets will be an added advantage.
Language RequirementsRequired
- Fluent English – Written and Spoken
- Excellent English communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Preferred
- Arabic – Written and Spoken is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Arabic-speaking candidates will have an advantage when dealing with GCC customers and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of additional African or regional languages will be considered an advantage.
