Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and groundskeeping. This role involves various tasks related to the upkeep and beautification of outdoor spaces, ensuring that properties are well-maintained and visually appealing.
Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Build and install hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Care for trees and shrubs through pruning, fertilizing, and pest management.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for digging, planting, and maintaining gardens.
- Assist in the design and installation of new landscaping projects.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and practices.
- Experience in groundskeeping with an eye for detail in aesthetics.
- Proficiency in hardscape installation methods.
- Familiarity with tree care best practices.
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including digging and lifting.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
