Senior HR Executive – Retail/Hypermarket Sector (UAE)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Executive to oversee and manage core HR operations for a leading hypermarket group in the UAE.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR administration and proven experience handling high-volume recruitment within the retail or hypermarket industry in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end HR operations and administration
• Handle high-volume recruitment and onboarding processes
• Oversee payroll management and ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Develop and implement employee retention and engagement strategies
• Support employee development and performance enhancement initiatives
• Ensure full compliance with UAE Labour Law and company policies
• Prepare and manage HR documentation, including offer letters, employment contracts, memos, and official correspondence.
• Manage employee attendance and leave records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and UAE Labour Law.
• Oversee staff accommodation and transportation arrangements, ensuring smooth coordination and timely issue resolution.
• Manage the renewal process for labor contracts and employee visas, ensuring timely submissions and compliance in collaboration with PRO support.
• Manage performance appraisal processes and coordinate employee training and development programs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships at all organizational levels.

Requirements:

· Minimum 2–5 years of proven HR experience in a retail, hypermarket, or supermarket environment in the UAE.

· Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Willingness to travel frequently across the UAE for store visits, audits, and on-site HR support.

· Willingness to work extended hours and weekends.

· Excellent command of English; proficiency in Hindi is preferred.
