About the role
Summary
We are seeking an experienced Procurement professional to join our team in Dubai as part of the Area Procurement Department, supporting all Hyatt hotels across the Dubai market.
Main Responsibilities
- Procurement Operations: Lead end‑to‑end purchasing activities, ensuring cost‑effective, timely, and high‑quality sourcing aligned with company objectives.
- Supplier and Contract Management: Manage supplier relationships, conduct negotiations, oversee tendering processes, and secure optimal commercial terms through well‑structured contracts.
- Market and Spend Analysis: Monitor market trends, perform price comparisons, evaluate purchasing practices, and prepare analytical reports to support strategic decision‑making.
- Compliance and Audit Control: Ensure adherence to legal requirements, company policies, ethical standards, and audit expectations.
- Sustainable Procurement Initiatives: Implement environmentally responsible sourcing practices, evaluate supplier sustainability performance, and promote green procurement across the hotel.

Qualifications
- Procurement Expertise: Strong capability in strategic sourcing, category management, spend analysis, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and cost optimization.
- Contract Management Skills: Ability to review contracts, understand key commercial terms, ensure compliance, manage risks, and evaluate supplier performance.
- Presentation and Reporting Skills: Competence in transforming procurement data and insights into clear presentations.
- Advanced Excel and Data Analysis: Experience with PivotTables, XLOOKUP, Power Query, dashboards, and data interpretation for procurement reporting is desirable.
- AI Tools: Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and other AI tools to enhance research, analysis, communication, and workflow efficiency is desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is desirable.
- Hands-on experience with the BirchStreet Procurement System will be considered a distinct advantage.
