About the role
THIS IS NOT A SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT OR CONTENT CREATION POSITION.
We are seeking an independent Senior Social Media & YouTube Performance Auditor to conduct a deep, evidence-based strategic and performance audit of Instagram, Facebook and YouTube for an international premium brand.
The objective is to understand what is performing, what is underperforming, why, and what should be changed to improve visibility, audience quality, engagement, qualified lead generation and overall contribution to business objectives.
The audit must cover a minimum of the previous 12 months and must be based on real platform data and professional analytics — not simply a manual review of posts.
Scope of Audit
The selected auditor will be expected to assess:
* Instagram and Facebook account performance
* YouTube channel and video performance
* Reach, impressions, engagement and audience growth
* Audience quality and geographic relevance
* Organic versus paid performance where data is available
* Content formats and topics producing the strongest and weakest results
* Reels, short-form and long-form video performance
* YouTube titles, thumbnails, retention and discoverability
* Posting frequency and timing
* Engagement quality versus vanity metrics
* Traffic and contribution to qualified leads/business objectives
* Historical performance trends over at least 12 months
* Competitive positioning and relevant benchmark accounts
* Major performance gaps and missed opportunities
* Recommendations for improving future performance
Analytics & Tools
The auditor must use native platform analytics together with professional analytics/AI tools.
Experience with tools such as Meta Business Suite/Insights, YouTube Studio, Metricool and vidIQ, or equivalent professional platforms, is expected.
We are specifically looking for someone capable of analyzing data and identifying strategic patterns, rather than manually scrolling through posts and providing general social media advice.
Required Experience
The auditor must have personally conducted data-driven audits of both Instagram/Facebook AND YouTube, using native platform analytics and professional analytics tools.
Experience limited to social media management, posting, community management, graphic design, video editing or content creation is not sufficient for this assignment.
Portfolio / Evidence Required
Applicants must provide at least one relevant example of a previous social media or YouTube performance audit.
Please provide, where possible:
* Type of account/business audited
* Platforms audited
* Analytics/tools used
* Main problems identified
* Strategic recommendations made
* Measurable improvements or business results achieved
Confidential client information may of course be anonymized.
Applications presenting only content-creation or social-media-management portfolios without evidence of analytical/audit work will not be considered.
Expected Deliverable
The final audit should provide a clear written diagnostic and prioritized action plan, identifying:
1. What is working
2. What is not working
3. Why performance is being affected
4. What should be stopped, corrected or improved
5. What should be prioritized over the next 30, 60 and 90 days
The recommendations must be practical, evidence-based and connected to measurable KPIs.
This is a one-time independent audit project, not an ongoing social media management position.
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
