About the role
VIDEO EDITOR WANTED – Outdoor/Fishing Family Channel
We’re looking for a talented video editor to join our growing outdoor/fishing brand, Reel Chaos Adventures
Our content focuses on:
- Saltwater & freshwater fishing
- Family adventures
- Offshore boating
- Kids outdoors content
- YouTube videos, reels, TikToks & shorts
We’ve already started gaining traction with multiple reels over 30k+ views, growing social pages, and we’re looking for someone who can help us take the content to the next level.
What we need:
- Editing long-form YouTube videos
- Creating high-retention shorts/reels
- Fast-paced, engaging cuts
- Music syncing & sound design
- Color correction
- Motion text/captions
- Ability to tell a story and create emotion/excitement
Style we’re after:
Think high-energy outdoor adventure mixed with authentic family moments. We want content that feels exciting, fun, cinematic, and real.
Bonus if you:
- Understand fishing/outdoor content
- Know current YouTube Shorts/TikTok trends
- Can help with thumbnails
- Understand pacing for retention and watch time
This can start part-time/freelance but has potential to grow long-term as the channel grows.
