Senior Estimation Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Estimation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing tender documents, preparing BOQs, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, and supporting the tendering process for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, architectural, structural, and MEP works.
• Perform quantity take-offs and rate analysis.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare tender submissions and commercial proposals.
• Conduct cost planning, budgeting, and value engineering.
• Identify project risks and opportunities during the bidding stage.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams.
• Maintain historical cost databases and estimation records.
• Ensure timely submission of bids and compliance with client requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in MEP Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8–15 years of estimation experience in construction projects.
• At least 4–5 years in a Senior Estimation Engineer role.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, cost estimation, and tendering.
• Experience with UAE construction standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software such as CostX, Candy, Cubit, or similar.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tenders and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred

• UAE/GCC experience.
• Experience in infrastructure, commercial, residential, or fit-out projects.
• Valid UAE Driving License.
• Knowledge of Abu Dhabi authority requirements and approvals

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
