Senior Motion Graphics Designer, Graphic Designer & AI Content Creator

About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Motion Graphics Designer, Graphic Designer & AI Content Creator to join our growing marketing team.

This is a senior creative role for someone who is passionate about visual storytelling and can combine outstanding graphic design, motion graphics, content creation and AI-powered creative technologies to produce engaging marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, customer engagement and commercial growth.

You will take ownership of the creative process from concept through to final delivery, producing compelling content across digital, social media, web, advertising, email marketing, print and video. You'll work closely with the Marketing Director and wider business to bring ideas to life while ensuring every piece of creative aligns with our brand standards and marketing objectives.

The ideal candidate is highly creative, technically skilled, commercially aware and excited by the opportunities Artificial Intelligence brings to modern content creation and design.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design

• Design high-quality creative assets for digital and print marketing.
• Produce marketing collateral including brochures, packaging, banners, POS material, presentations, catalogues and promotional materials.
• Design engaging creatives for websites, landing pages, email campaigns, paid advertising and social media platforms.
• Ensure brand consistency across all creative output.
• Develop visual concepts that strengthen the company's brands and marketing campaigns.

Motion Graphics & Video Production

• Create professional motion graphics, animations and video content for social media, digital advertising, websites and internal communications.
• Produce engaging short-form content for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Edit promotional videos using professional editing software.
• Create animated adverts, product showcases, explainer videos and promotional campaigns.
• Work with photography and videography to produce high-quality multimedia content.

Content Creation

• Plan, develop and produce engaging visual content across multiple marketing channels.
• Create content calendars alongside the marketing team.
• Develop campaign concepts that align with business objectives.
• Produce creative assets that generate engagement, leads and brand awareness.
• Work closely with internal teams to transform ideas into compelling marketing campaigns.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)

• Utilise AI-powered creative tools to improve content creation, graphic design, motion graphics and campaign development.
• Use platforms such as ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Runway, Canva AI, Microsoft Copilot and similar technologies to enhance creative workflows.
• Write effective prompts that generate commercially valuable creative concepts, imagery, video content and marketing copy.
• Evaluate and refine AI-generated content to ensure originality, quality and brand consistency.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive creative tasks using AI while maintaining creative excellence.
• Keep up to date with emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative tools that improve productivity and creative performance.

Creative Leadership

• Work collaboratively with the Marketing Director to deliver creative campaigns that support business growth.
• Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Present creative concepts and campaign ideas with confidence.
• Support and mentor junior designers where appropriate.
• Stay ahead of industry trends across design, motion graphics, AI, content creation and digital marketing.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, Creative Design or Digital Content Creation.
• A strong portfolio showcasing graphic design, branding, motion graphics, video editing and digital marketing campaigns.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Strong experience producing motion graphics and animated marketing content.
• Excellent video editing skills with experience creating engaging social media content.
• Practical experience using AI-powered creative platforms within professional marketing environments.
• Strong understanding of branding, marketing strategy and digital customer engagement.
• Experience creating content across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and other digital platforms.
• Excellent understanding of typography, layout, colour theory and visual storytelling.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Desirable Skills

• Photography and videography experience.
• Copywriting for social media, websites and advertising campaigns.
• Experience with SEO and digital marketing.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite and campaign reporting.
• Experience working within retail, FMCG, wholesale, distribution or consumer brands.
• Experience mentoring junior creatives.
