Are you detail-oriented and experienced in inventory management? Join The Carnival – All Day Buffet Restaurant as a Store Keeper and play a vital role in ensuring smooth restaurant operations through efficient stock management and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and other inventory items.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems.
- Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies or damaged items.
- Process store requests and ensure timely issuance of materials to relevant departments.
- Implement FIFO/FEFO stock rotation practices to minimize waste and prevent product expiry.
- Keep the storage area organized, clean, properly labeled, and compliant with food safety standards.
- Maintain accurate stock movement records, including receipts and issue logs.
- Coordinate with procurement, operations, and logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted stock availability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification (additional logistics or inventory certifications are a plus).
- 1–2 years of experience as a Store Keeper, preferably in the food, restaurant, or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and stock control practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and inventory management software.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment.
