Role Description
We are looking for a Social Media & Content Intern to join our team in Beyoğlu, Istanbul.
This is a full-time, on-site internship where you'll work closely with our creative and production teams. You'll be involved in social media management, content creation, community management and video production while gaining hands-on experience with local and global brands.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing social media accounts across different platforms.
- Create short-form photo and video content for Instagram, TikTok and other social platforms.
- Support community management by responding to comments and direct messages.
- Research social media trends, formats and platform updates.
- Brainstorm creative content ideas for brands and Bite's own channels.
- Assist during content productions and shooting days.
- Support video editing and content adaptation for different platforms.
- Prepare simple presentations and content plans when needed.
Qualifications:
- Currently studying Marketing, New Media, Communication, Advertising, Public Relations, Cinema & Television or related fields.
- 2nd, 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Passionate about social media, digital culture and content creation.
- Comfortable appearing behind or in front of the camera when needed.
- Able to shoot basic photo and video content using a smartphone or camera.
- Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and current digital trends.
- Basic knowledge of video editing tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar.
- Creative, proactive and eager to learn.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent command of Turkish language and grammar.
Nice to Have
- Previous internship or freelance experience in social media or content creation.
- Experience managing personal or brand social media accounts.
- Photography or video production experience.
- Basic design skills using Canva, Photoshop or Figma.
- Interest in marketing, advertising and creative production.
