Hiring Now – Mechanical Draftsman (Immediate Joiners)
Universal BIM is looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Draftsman to join our growing team in the UAE.
Position
Mechanical Draftsman
Experience Required
- 3–5 years of UAE experience as a Mechanical Draftsman.
- Immediate joiners currently available in the UAE will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed mechanical shop drawings for HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems.
- Develop accurate 2D drawings using AutoCAD in accordance with project specifications and standards.
- Coordinate with Mechanical Engineers, BIM Modelers, and other MEP disciplines to ensure coordinated and clash-free drawings.
- Prepare layouts, sections, elevations, and installation details as required.
- Revise drawings based on design changes, client comments, and site requirements.
- Ensure drawings comply with project standards and local authority regulations.
- Maintain drawing registers and project documentation.
- Deliver accurate and high-quality drawings within project deadlines.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3–5 years of UAE experience as a Mechanical Draftsman.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience in preparing shop drawings and coordination drawings.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
