About GRD Marketing
GRD Marketing is an experiential marketing and events agency working across Alcobev, Lifestyle, FMCG, Luxury and Entertainment brands.
We conceptualize and execute brand experiences across events, festivals, nightlife, retail, launches, brand activations and consumer engagement platforms.
We are looking for a 2D & 3D Experiential Designer who can turn creative ideas into visually strong, practical and execution-ready event designs.
The Role
As a 2D & 3D Experiential Designer, you will work closely with our Creative, Client Servicing and Production teams to develop designs for brand activations and live experiences.
You should be able to take a brief such as:
"Create a premium branded experience zone for a whiskey brand"
and develop it from initial visual direction → 2D layouts → 3D visualization → detailed design → fabrication-ready artwork.
You will be involved in both creative design and practical event execution.

- Festival environments
- Nightlife / club activations

- Sampling zones
2. Stage & Event Environment Design
Develop concepts and visualizations for:
- Main stages
- DJ consoles
- Performance stages
- LED screen structures
- Trussing & branding
- Stage backdrops
- Side wings
- Podiums
- Artist / backstage branding
- VIP areas
- Hospitality zones
- Entry gates
- Event pathways
- Venue branding
The designer should understand how a design will actually be built and executed on ground, not just how it looks in a render.
3. Bar & Hospitality Design
Design:
- Modular bars
- Island bars
- Back bars
- DJ + bar integrations
- Bottle display units
- Counter designs
- Illuminated bars
- Branded bar experiences
- Product display units
- POSM and bar-top elements
Understanding of materials, dimensions, fabrication techniques and lighting will be an advantage.
4. Brand Merchandise & POSM
Create 2D designs and product visualizations for:
- T-shirts
- Hoodies
- Caps
- Bags
- Jackets
- Wristbands
- Sunglasses
- Glassware
- Bottles / packaging
- Gifting kits
- Premium merchandise
- PR kits
- Consumer giveaways
5. Signages & Branding
Develop designs for:
- Directional signage
- Wayfinding
- Standees
- Backdrops
- Cut-outs
- Neon signage
- LED signage
- Hanging signage
- Pillars
- Wall branding
- Vinyl applications
- Retail branding
- Venue branding
- Entrance branding
6. 2D Graphic Design
Create:
- Event creatives
- Key visuals
- Brand activation artwork
- Social media creatives
- Presentation graphics
- Event invitations
- Digital screens
- LED screen content
- Brand decks
- Moodboards
- Visual references
- Typography / graphic systems
- Print-ready artwork
- Production artwork
7. 3D Visualization
Develop realistic 3D visualizations for client presentations, including:
- Event layouts
- 3D event environments
- Stage designs
- Bars
- Brand zones
- Booths
- Retail spaces
- Product displays
- Installations
- Photo opportunities
- Furniture
- Lighting concepts
- Material finishes
Ability to create realistic renders and multiple views is important.
8. Production & Fabrication Support
Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are practical to execute.
You should be comfortable preparing:
- Fabrication drawings
- Dimensions
- Material specifications
- Elevations
- Top views
- Front / side views
- Artwork files
- Print-ready files
- Cutting files
- Installation references
- BOQ-supporting visuals
You will also be expected to understand basic materials such as:
MDF | Acrylic | Metal | Wood | Fabric | Vinyl | LED | Neon | Flex | Foamboard | PVC | Sunboard | ACP | LED screens | Truss
Tools – Must Be Hands-On2D Design
Mandatory:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe InDesign
3D Design
Hands-on experience with at least one professional 3D software:
- SketchUp
- 3ds Max
- Blender
- Cinema 4D
- Rhino
Knowledge of rendering tools such as:
- V-Ray
- Corona
- Enscape
- Lumion
- D5 Render
will be an advantage.
Presentation & AI Tools
Should be comfortable with:
- PowerPoint
- Canva
- Figma
- AI design / image-generation tools
- ChatGPT for creative ideation and visual prompting
Experience with Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Ideogram, Runway or similar AI tools will be a strong advantage.

- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work under tight event timelines
- Strong presentation skills
- Willingness to work closely with production teams
- Ability to take feedback and quickly iterate designs
Ideal Candidate
You should ideally have:
1–4 years of experience in one or more of:
- Experiential marketing
- Event design
- Exhibition design
- Retail design
- Spatial design
- Interior design
- Brand activation
- Set design
- Advertising / creative agencies
Candidates from architecture, interior design, exhibition design or event agencies with strong 3D visualization skills are encouraged to apply.
Important
This is not a conventional graphic design role.
We are looking for someone who understands:
Idea → Design → 2D → 3D → Visualization → Fabrication → Execution
