Facility Zone Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Facility Zone Manager to oversee the delivery of both Hard and Soft Facilities Management (FM) services within an assigned zone. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with company standards, client requirements, and industry best practices, including SFG20 and BICS standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of Hard FM and Soft FM services within the assigned zone.
• Plan, implement, and monitor Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM), Corrective Maintenance (CM), Reactive Maintenance (RM), and snagging activities.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, client requirements, health & safety regulations, and statutory standards.
• Lead and supervise technical supervisors, technicians, cleaners, gardeners, and subcontractors to achieve operational excellence.
• Coordinate procurement activities and ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and spare parts.
• Review maintenance reports, work orders, and performance data to ensure quality and continuous improvement.
• Ensure effective utilization of CAFM systems (Maximo preferred) for work order management, asset tracking, and reporting.
• Manage vendor and contractor performance while maintaining high service quality.
• Prepare and coordinate gate pass requests for personnel, equipment, materials, and contractors.
• Oversee company assets and vehicles to ensure proper maintenance and utilization.
• Collaborate with other Zone Managers, Mobile Teams, and internal stakeholders to support operational objectives.
• Establish performance objectives and monitor the productivity of direct reports.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with SFG20 and BICS standards.
• Respond promptly to operational issues, emergency requests, and client requirements.
• Perform other duties related to Facilities Management as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Facilities Management, with proven experience managing both Hard and Soft FM services.
• Experience managing maintenance operations in commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, or large-scale facilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of SFG20, BICS, and CAFM systems (Maximo preferred) is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and reactive maintenance programs.
• Experience with HVAC, MEP systems, fire & life safety systems, and asset management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAFM software.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and statutory compliance requirements.
