Yard Guard & Fleet Inspector

GH Logistics – Justin TX

Pay: $23.00/hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30am-5:30pm

Job Type: Full-Time

About GH Logistics

GH Logistics manages a large trailer fleet supporting transportation operations across the country. We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual to take ownership of our Memphis trailer yard and help keep our equipment organized, secure, and road-ready.

CDL is required. We provide training and are looking for someone who takes pride in staying organized, paying attention to details, and working independently.

What You'll Do

• Conduct daily yard inspections and trailer counts
• Monitor yard security and report any issues
• Inspect trailers for damage, safety concerns, and maintenance needs
• Photograph and document trailer conditions
• Track trailers entering and leaving the yard
• Verify trailer paperwork and documentation
• Flag equipment needing repairs or maintenance
• Maintain accurate inspection and inventory records
• Communicate with drivers and operations staff regarding yard activity
• Keep the yard organized, safe, and operational

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to walk the yard throughout the day
• Basic smartphone and computer skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision

• Yard management
• Fleet inspections
• Warehouse operations
• Security experience
• Trailer or equipment maintenance
• Transportation or logistics experience
