Someone has to own the first mile. Find the right company, find the right person at that company, and get Phoenix a seat at their table. This is not a role where you sit back and wait for leads to arrive. You build the pipeline that keeps the business moving.
As a Lead Development Representative at Phoenix Live, you own the top of the funnel end to end — identifying the technology companies and GCCs across India that fit what Phoenix does best, sourcing the right contacts, and running outreach across calls, email and LinkedIn with one goal: a qualified meeting booked for the New Business team.
It’s the first mile of every deal Phoenix wins, and it’s yours.

01 WHAT YOU’LL OWN
Find the right accounts
— Research and shortlist target companies across India’s technology and GCC landscape.
— Target against what Phoenix does best — internal and external events.
— Keep the account list growing in the right direction, not just growing.
Find the right people
— Source the right contacts — marketing, events, people and culture, or procurement.
— Use Apollo.io and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to reach the actual decision-maker.
— Dig into a company properly before you ever reach out to it.
Run the outreach
— Run multi-channel outreach across calls, email and LinkedIn that is sharp, warm and never generic.
— Write messages people reply to, and hold a real conversation on a cold call.
— Book qualified meetings and keep the pipeline moving.
Work AI-native, track it clean
— Use AI tools daily to research faster, write sharper and personalise at scale.
— Track everything cleanly so nothing falls through the cracks.
— Test what works and drop what does not.

What you’ll bring

— Writing that earns a reply, and the nerve to hold a real conversation on a cold call.
— Thick skin — outbound means a lot of no before you get a yes.
— Organisation tight enough that nothing gets missed on your watch.
Software & tools
Command across the toolkit
— Prospecting and contact sourcing — Apollo.io and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
— Multi-channel outreach across calls, email and LinkedIn.
— Clean pipeline, activity and account tracking.
Strong to have
— AI tools used properly for research, drafting and personalisation at scale.
— Any interest in events, marketing or the technology industry.
What sets you apart
— Outreach you wrote that got replies from people who owed you nothing.
— A target list you built from nothing.
Experience — 0 – 2 years in outbound, lead generation, inside sales or business development — freshers with strong communication are genuinely welcome. What matters is how you write, how you research and how you handle a no.
Education & credentials — A background in business, marketing or communications is a plus; curiosity and communication matter most.
03 WHERE THIS ROLE SITS
You sit at the Executive band of New Business Development, at the very top of the funnel — sourcing the accounts and the contacts, running the outreach, and handing qualified meetings to the New Business team who take them forward. It’s the first mile of every deal Phoenix wins, and the foundation for growing into a Senior Executive who runs those meetings and starts carrying deals.
What good looks like
— A steady stream of qualified meetings lands on the team’s calendar every month.
— Outreach going out under your name reflects well on Phoenix, every time.
— The contact and account database keeps growing in the right direction.
— You’re visibly ready to run the meeting yourself — Senior Executive is in reach.
04 WHO THIS ROLE ISN’T FOR
— Someone who waits for leads instead of going out and finding them.
— A sender of generic templates who won’t research the account first.
— Anyone who takes rejection personally — outbound is mostly no.
— Someone who lets the tracker and the follow-ups quietly slide.

Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
