Location: USA (Miami, Massachusetts & Nationwide Travel)

Enjoy Education is recruiting experienced Primary Tutors and Governesses for a number of exciting residential opportunities with private families across the USA.
These are unique roles supporting children through bespoke educational programmes, combining high-quality academic tuition with enrichment, mentoring and pastoral care. Some positions involve homeschooling, while others focus on supporting children alongside school attendance.
We are looking for exceptional educators who are flexible, engaging and confident working within private households and travelling with families where required.
Current Opportunities
- Residential Primary Tutor – Miami
- Supporting two children (approximately Year 2 and Year 4).
- Delivering a full-time British primary homeschooling programme with enrichment activities.
- Based in Miami with regular travel to Canada and The Bahamas.
- Travelling Primary Tutor – USA
- Supporting two primary-aged children (approximately Year 1 and Year 3).
- Delivering a creative, project-based homeschooling programme.
- Travelling between the East and West Coast of the USA on a long-term basis.
- Residential Governess – Massachusetts
- Supporting an 11-year-old student returning to school.
- Providing academic support to bridge curriculum gaps, alongside mentoring and pastoral care.
- Residential role based near the student's school campus.
We're Looking For
Successful candidates will have:
- Significant experience teaching or tutoring Primary-aged students.
- Experience delivering the British curriculum.
- The ability to build engaging, personalised learning programmes.
- Excellent communication skills and a flexible, proactive approach.
- Experience supporting children with SEN (essential for some roles).
- A willingness to travel where required.
- The legal right to work in the USA (essential).
The following would also be advantageous:
- Experience with homeschooling or alternative educational approaches.
- Strength in Primary Mathematics.
- Languages, music or other enrichment specialisms.
- Experience working with private families or in residential positions.
Pay: From $60.00 per hour
