The Digital Media Director will be responsible for developing and executing integrated digital media strategies across social media, content, paid advertising, video, and other digital channels. This role combines strategic leadership with creative direction and data-driven decision-making, ensuring that Advora Media's digital presence consistently delivers strong audience engagement and measurable business results.
The successful candidate will work closely with creative, marketing, content, and commercial teams to identify opportunities for growth, develop compelling campaigns, and ensure that digital activities align with the company's broader objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead Advora Media's overall digital media strategy across relevant platforms and channels.
- Establish digital media objectives, KPIs, budgets, and performance targets.
- Lead the planning, development, and execution of multi-platform digital campaigns.
- Oversee social media strategy, content calendars, audience engagement, and platform growth.
- Direct the development of video, editorial, visual, and other digital content.
- Monitor audience behavior, campaign performance, engagement, reach, and conversion metrics.
- Use analytics and market insights to identify opportunities and continuously optimize digital campaigns.
- Oversee paid digital advertising activities, including social media, search, display, and other relevant channels.
- Work with creative teams to maintain consistent brand identity, messaging, and quality across digital platforms.
- Manage external agencies, media partners, creators, influencers, and other third-party suppliers when required.
- Lead, mentor, and develop digital media and content team members.
- Manage digital media budgets and ensure resources are allocated effectively.
- Stay informed about emerging platforms, technologies, audience trends, AI tools, and developments within the digital media industry.
- Present campaign results, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure that all digital content and campaigns meet professional, legal, brand, and platform standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Media Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in digital media, digital marketing, content, advertising, or a related field, including significant experience managing digital campaigns or teams.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing successful digital media strategies.
- Proven experience managing social media campaigns across major platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, or similar channels.
- Strong understanding of paid digital advertising, audience development, content strategy, SEO/SEM, and social media marketing.
- Experience using analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics/GA4, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, or comparable platforms.
- Strong understanding of digital performance metrics, KPIs, ROI, audience insights, and campaign optimization.
- Demonstrated leadership and team-management abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong strategic thinking, creativity, organization, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast-paced media environment.

- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, CMS platforms, and social media management tools.
- Experience with influencer marketing and creator partnerships.
- Experience developing both organic and paid audience-growth strategies.
- Familiarity with the Qatar/GCC media and advertising landscape.
- Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
- Relevant certifications in Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta, HubSpot, or other recognized digital marketing platforms are advantageous.
