Atlanta Training Center is seeking an experienced, passionate, and industry-savvy Graphic Design Instructor to lead our hands-on Graphic Designer Training (AT-GD-001) course.

In this role, you will guide beginner learners, career changers, and professionals through a comprehensive, lab-based curriculum. Beyond the core Adobe Creative Cloud stack, we are looking for a versatile instructor capable of contributing to future curriculum expansion into UI/UX, motion graphics, digital media, and modern design workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Course Instruction: Deliver engaging, face-to-face, instructor-led lectures and facilitate interactive lab sessions.
• Software Mastery: Teach foundational and advanced techniques in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Mentorship & Portfolio Guidance: Assist students in working through real-world client briefs and developing a job-ready digital portfolio.
• Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate student assignments, module projects, and final capstone projects, providing constructive feedback.
• Curriculum Development: Collaborate with our academic team to enhance and expand the current course modules into additional design domains.

Required Core Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of professional experience as a Graphic Designer, Creative Director, or Visual Communication Specialist.
• Teaching/Training: Prior experience in teaching, corporate training, or academic instruction is strongly preferred.
• Core Software Proficiency: Expert-level mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Design Fundamentals: Strong grounding in typography, color theory, grid systems, branding, and print production.
• Communication: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills in English; ability to simplify complex design concepts for absolute beginners.

Preferred / Extended Skills (Plus Points)

Since we plan to expand our creative programs, expertise in the following areas is a major advantage:

• Motion Graphics & Video Editing: Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• UI/UX & Web Design: Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, or responsive web design principles.
• Emerging Tech & AI Tools: Experience integrating AI design tools (e.g., Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Canva) into visual creation workflows.
• 3D Design & Packaging: Basic knowledge of 3D rendering (Blender, Cinema 4D) or advanced packaging dielines and prepress techniques.
