Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Joinery Estimator with a strong background in the UAE joinery industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and supporting the sales and project teams in securing profitable projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and specifications for joinery and fit-out projects.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, material take-offs, and project budgets.
- Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors and evaluate pricing.
- Analyze project scope and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate with the design, production, procurement, and project teams to ensure accurate estimations.
- Prepare tender submissions, quotations, and commercial proposals within deadlines.
- Monitor material prices and market trends to maintain competitive pricing.
- Assist in value engineering and cost optimization throughout the tender stage.
- Maintain estimation records and update cost databases regularly.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of UAE experience as a Joinery Estimator.
- Strong knowledge of joinery manufacturing processes, materials, hardware, and finishing.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, interior fit-out, and shop drawings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and estimation software.
- Good understanding of BOQs, tendering procedures, and cost control.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict tender deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Experience with high-end residential, commercial, hospitality, and retail joinery projects.
- Immediate joiners or candidates available in the UAE will be preferred.
Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
