About the role
THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Sales Representative to own and convert all commercial leads generated through our Riyadh office. This is a full-cycle sales role: you will take ownership of inbound enquiries and self-generated opportunities, qualify them, develop the relationship, coordinate the technical solution with our engineering team, and close the business.
This is a client-facing, field-based role in Riyadh. You will spend a significant part of your week meeting clients, consultants and partners in person across the Kingdom.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Management & Pipeline
- Take ownership of all inbound leads and enquiries received through the Riyadh office, ensuring every lead is responded to promptly and professionally.
- Qualify leads against technical fit, budget, decision authority and timeline, and prioritise the pipeline accordingly.
- Maintain accurate and current records of all opportunities, activities and forecasts in the CRM system.
- Provide weekly pipeline reporting and accurate revenue forecasting to management.
Business Development
- Generate new opportunities through direct prospecting, networking, industry events, consultants and existing client relationships.
- Build and maintain relationships with government entities, semi-government organisations, enterprise clients, developers, contractors and consultants across the Kingdom.
- Identify and pursue opportunities within giga-projects, smart city programmes and national digital transformation initiatives.
Solution Selling & Proposals
- Understand client operational requirements and translate them into the appropriate Tektronix solution, working closely with pre-sales and engineering teams.
- Coordinate the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, quotations and tender submissions.
- Deliver client presentations, product demonstrations and site visits.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing and contracts in line with company approval policy.
Account & Partner Management
- Manage client relationships through delivery and beyond, identifying repeat, expansion and managed-services opportunities.
- Work with technology partners, OEMs and channel partners to develop joint opportunities.
- Represent Tektronix Partners at exhibitions, conferences and industry forums in the Kingdom.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor market activity, competitor positioning, tender announcements and upcoming projects, and report findings to management.
- Track relevant government programmes, regulatory changes and procurement platforms such as Etimad.
REQUIREMENTS
Essential
- 7 to 10 years of proven sales experience in technology, IT, security systems, ELV, smart infrastructure or related B2B solutions.
- Demonstrable experience selling in the Saudi market with an established network of client and consultant relationships in the Kingdom.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, with evidence of deals closed and revenue delivered.
- Experience selling to government, semi-government and large enterprise clients, including tender and RFP processes.
- Fluency in Arabic and English - written and spoken. Client meetings and documentation are conducted in both.
- Valid Saudi driving licence and willingness to travel across the Kingdom.
- Based in Riyadh and available to work on-site - this role is not remote or hybrid.
- Saudi nationals are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates of other nationalities must hold a valid, transferable Iqama.
- Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Confident with CRM systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred
- Experience with security systems, video surveillance, access control, IoT, smart lockers, data centre infrastructure or AI-based solutions.
- Existing relationships within giga-projects, ministries, authorities, developers or major contractors.
- Familiarity with Saudi government procurement processes and the Etimad platform.
- Understanding of NCA and CITC regulatory requirements as they affect technology procurement.
- Experience working alongside technical pre-sales and engineering teams on complex solution sales.
