About the role
Job Summary
The QHSE Officer / Coordinator will support the implementation and monitoring of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements across FM operations, ensuring compliance with company, client, Qatar, and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine QHSE inspections, audits, and site assessments.
- Monitor FM activities for compliance with approved safety procedures.
- Identify hazards, assess risks, and monitor corrective actions.
- Support incident investigation, reporting, and preventive actions.
- Maintain QHSE documentation, records, inspections, and reports.
- Conduct toolbox talks, awareness sessions, and safety briefings.
- Coordinate with operations teams, management, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Support implementation of Quality, HSE, Environmental, and Risk Management systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards including ISO 45001 and applicable NFPA requirements.
Requirements
- Recognized Health & Safety qualification.
- NEBOSH Diploma required.
- Minimum 5 years' QHSE experience after obtaining the NEBOSH qualification, within similar-sized GCC projects.
- Minimum 2 years' experience within Facility Management.
- Strong experience in safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and site monitoring.
- Good understanding of ISO 45001, NFPA, and applicable Qatar requirements.
- Fluent in Arabic and English – mandatory.
- Multi-site FM experience is highly preferred.
- Strong communication, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
