About the Role
We are urgently hiring an experienced and customer-focused Waitress for a premium Italian restaurant in Abu Dhabi.
The ideal candidate should have previous restaurant or hospitality experience, excellent communication skills, and a professional approach to customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing guests with a welcoming and high-quality dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and provide information about food and beverage options.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders.
- Serve meals and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the guest's dining experience.
- Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Practice suggestive selling and recommend menu items when appropriate.
- Coordinate with kitchen and restaurant team members to ensure smooth service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and dining areas.
- Follow restaurant hygiene, food safety, and service standards.
- Assist with table setup, clearing, and preparation for incoming guests.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience as a Waitress in a restaurant, café, hotel, or similar hospitality environment.
- Experience in a premium or Italian restaurant is an advantage.
- Good English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer-service skills.
- Well-groomed with a professional appearance.
- Positive, friendly, and team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts as required.
- Candidates who can join immediately or on short notice will be preferred.
