Job Summary: Seasonal
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Regional Football Scout to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for football and a strong desire to aid young athletes in reaching their full potential. As a Regional Football Scout, you will play a critical role in evaluating high school athletes, organizing events, and promoting our mission through effective outreach and engagement. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to explore the potential for franchise ownership within the Compete 24 network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate Athletic Skills: Assess the performance, skills, and potential of high school football players to provide valuable feedback and recommendations.
- Social Media Engagement: Actively post and engage with our audience on social media platforms to promote events, spotlight athletes, and foster community interaction.
- Event Booking: Coordinate and secure facility locations for training camps, showcases, and other events to ensure their successful execution.
- Staff Coordination: Assist in identifying and recruiting qualified staff to support events, including coaches and trainers.
- Media Coordination: Collaborate with photographers and videographers to capture high-quality media during events for marketing and promotional purposes.
- College Outreach: Reach out to colleges within your assigned region to invite coaches and staff to attend our events and connect with talented athletes.
- Athlete Invitations: Utilize social media and other marketing strategies to send invitations to athletes for participation in events and showcases.
- Meeting Participation: Attend scheduled Zoom meetings to discuss event planning, updates, and collaborative efforts with team members and stakeholders.
- Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support the overall mission and objectives of Compete 24.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of football, with a solid understanding of athletic evaluation metrics and performance standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with athletes, parents, coaches, and college representatives.
- Proficient in social media management and digital marketing strategies.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
