As we expand our international operations, we are seeking an experienced Capital Raising & Investor Relations Manager to lead investor outreach, fundraising initiatives and strategic investor relationships.
About the Role
This is a senior capital-raising and investor-relations position, not a conventional sales role.
The successful candidate will identify and engage qualified investors, originate investment opportunities, manage investor relationships and support the fundraising process from initial introduction through meetings, due diligence, negotiations and closing.
We are particularly interested in professionals with an established and verifiable network of:
- High-net-worth individuals (HNWIs)
- Ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs)
- Family offices
- Private investors
- Strategic investors
- Investment firms
- Institutional investors
Strong international investor relationships are more important than the candidate’s current location. Candidates based in North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, Asia, Africa, Australia, the GCC and other international markets are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a structured global capital-raising strategy.
- Identify, research, qualify and approach potential investors.
- Generate qualified opportunities through personal networks, referrals, conferences and professional channels.
- Build, manage and develop a high-quality investor pipeline.
- Lead investor meetings, presentations, calls and selected roadshows.
- Present the company’s business model, growth strategy, market opportunity and investment proposition.
- Prepare pitch decks, investment proposals, financial summaries and investor communications.
- Understand investor objectives, investment preferences, risk considerations and strategic interests.
- Manage communication and follow-up throughout the fundraising process.
- Coordinate investor due diligence with management, finance and legal teams.
- Support discussions regarding valuation, investment structure and commercial terms.
- Develop strategic relationships that may provide capital, partnerships, market access and international expansion opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline information.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on outreach, meetings, investor feedback, pipeline value and fundraising progress.
Required Experience and Skills
- 5- 10+ years of experience in capital raising, fundraising, investor relations, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, asset management, private banking, wealth management, family offices or corporate finance.
- Proven experience personally sourcing, originating or closing investment or capital-raising transactions.
- Established and verifiable relationships with qualified investors.
- Strong understanding of investor qualification, fundraising, due diligence, negotiations and transaction processes.
- Experience preparing and presenting investment proposals, pitch decks, financial information and business cases.
- Excellent presentation, communication, persuasion and negotiation skills.
- Strong commercial, financial and analytical understanding.
- Ability to independently originate investor relationships and open doors to decision-makers.
- Strong networking, CRM and relationship-management skills.
- Cross-border fundraising experience is highly desirable.
- UAE or GCC investor relationships are an advantage but not required.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Investment, Accounting or a related discipline is preferred.
- MBA, CFA or relevant professional qualifications are an advantage.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a proven capital raiser and investor-relations professional with an active investor network—not a general salesperson.
You should be able to demonstrate:
- Previous capital raised or investment transactions originated.
- The approximate size and nature of relevant transactions.
- Existing relationships with qualified investors.
- The ability to independently generate investor introductions.
- Professional credibility with HNWIs, UHNWIs, family offices and senior business leaders.
- Strong investor presentation, negotiation and relationship-management abilities.
- Commercial judgment, discretion and an entrepreneurial approach.
Experience limited to general sales, telesales, immigration sales or conventional business development without a demonstrated capital-raising or investment track record is unlikely to be suitable for this position.
