About the role
Location: Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi
Job Type: Permanent / Full-Time
Salary: Up to AED 3,500 per month (All-Inclusive)
We are looking for an experienced Typist cum HR Assistant with strong knowledge of UAE government procedures and online portals. The candidate will be responsible for processing employee and company-related government transactions and providing administrative support to the HR Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Process employee work permits, labour contracts, visas, renewals, cancellations and status changes through relevant UAE government portals.
- Handle Emirates ID, medical fitness and other employee-related government applications.
- Process and follow up on Trade License renewals/amendments, Establishment Cards, employee quota applications and other company-related government transactions.
- Maintain and monitor expiry dates of employee visas, Emirates IDs, labour documents, Trade Licenses, Establishment Cards and other official documents.
- Ensure all government applications, employee records and company documents are accurate and updated at all times.
- Follow up on pending applications and coordinate with relevant government authorities when required.
- Maintain proper records of applications, approvals, receipts and government-related transactions.
- Assist the HR Manager with employee documentation, onboarding/offboarding, filing, letters, reports and other HR administrative tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality of all employee and company information.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant UAE experience, preferably in Abu Dhabi.
- Hands-on experience with MOHRE and UAE immigration/residency procedures and government portals.
- Knowledge of Trade License, Establishment Card, employee quota and company-related government procedures.
- Previous experience as a Typist in a Typing Center, HR Assistant, PRO Assistant or Government Relations Assistant preferred.
- Strong typing, computer, documentation and record-management skills.
- Good command of English; Arabic knowledge/typing is an advantage.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented and capable of handling government transactions independently.
Candidates with practical Abu Dhabi government portal experience will be given preference.
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
