QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER – ROTARY WING

The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for verifying that the highest maintenance standards are applied, ensuring that an airworthy, reliable, and safe product is provided, and that technical staff work within the framework of the company’s Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME), Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE), and Technical Procedures Manual (TPM) by:

• Investigating and recommending action with respect to occurrences.
• Conducting internal and external audits and surveillance inspection of all aircraft maintenance related activities.
• Carrying out spot checks on aircraft and carrying out detailed surveillance of material supply.
• Carrying out Maintenance Documentation Reviews (MDR).
• Maintaining the data base for QCAA company approvals.
• Maintaining the data base for staff authorisations.
• Coordinating with QCAA for aircraft certificate renewals.
• Supporting Manager Quality Technical in regards to his duties.

Qualification

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or holder of a Valid Part 66 Licence.
• Qualified Aviation Auditor.
• Trained in QMS & SMS for Airlines.
• Level-1 training in at least 1 Helicopter type.
• Minimum 5 years as Quality Assurance Engineer or in a regulatory role with any national CAA or as Systems Engineer or LAE on Helicopter or a combination of the above.
• 4 years of auditing experience.
• Familiarisation with EASA / FAA / ICAO regulations.
• Comprehensive aviation knowledge of Helicopters.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under demanding operational environments.
