DevOps Engineer

One of our key clients is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, security, compliance and performance of a highly available platform while driving automation and continuous improvement across the engineering function.

Salary: Up to 20k.

To be based full time in Riyadh office

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure across multiple environments, ensuring security, availability, and performance.
• Deploy, administer, and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
• Design, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation solutions to streamline operations.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure platform reliability and proactive issue resolution.
• Enforce security best practices, including access management, secrets management, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure hardening.
• Collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity teams to support secure deployments, incident response, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation and promote DevOps best practices across the organization.

Critical Competencies:

• Strong experience with Linux system administration.
• Hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure (GCP preferred).
• Proven expertise in Kubernetes cluster management.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, including ArgoCD and GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management.
• Strong knowledge of observability tools, including Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience managing secrets using HashiCorp Vault.
• Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
