We are looking for a Video Ads Team Lead who can lead our video advertising team and create high-performing video content that drives sales, conversions, and customer engagement.
Role Overview
As a Video Ads Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end production of video ads across platforms such as Meta, YouTube, and Instagram.
You will work closely with the Performance Marketing, Creative, and Content teams to develop video creatives that are not just visually appealing but also deliver strong business results.
The ideal candidate understands what makes people stop scrolling, watch, engage, and ultimately buy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Video Ads/Creative team, including video editors, content creators, and other creative resources.
- Develop video ad concepts, hooks, scripts, storyboards, and creative directions based on marketing objectives.
- Create and scale performance-driven video ads for Meta, YouTube, Instagram, and other digital platforms.
- Work closely with the Performance Marketing team to understand campaign performance and identify opportunities for new creatives.
- Analyze video ad performance metrics such as CTR, Hook Rate, Hold Rate, CPC, CPA, ROAS, and Conversion Rate.
- Use performance data to identify winning concepts, hooks, formats, and messaging and replicate them at scale.
- Build a systematic creative testing framework with multiple hooks, angles, formats, CTAs, and iterations.
- Ensure a consistent pipeline of fresh video creatives for ongoing campaigns.
- Guide the team on editing style, pacing, storytelling, visuals, transitions, sound design, and ad structure.
- Conduct regular creative reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality and performance of ads.
- Stay updated with current social media trends, viral formats, competitor creatives, and emerging advertising trends.
- Experiment with AI tools for ideation, scripting, voiceovers, visuals, editing, and content production.
- Coordinate with internal teams for product shoots, customer testimonials, UGC, influencer content, and other video requirements.
- Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery.
- Build and maintain a library of high-performing creatives, concepts, hooks, and references.
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in video advertising, performance creative, digital marketing, or a similar role.
- Proven experience creating video ads specifically for performance marketing.
- Strong understanding of Meta Ads and YouTube Ads creative requirements.
- Experience managing or mentoring a team of video editors/creative professionals.
- Strong understanding of direct-response advertising and consumer psychology.
- Ability to identify strong hooks and create content that captures attention within the first 2–3 seconds.
- Strong storytelling and creative thinking skills.
- Good understanding of video editing, production, scripting, and creative direction.
- Comfortable working with performance data and using it to make creative decisions.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Good to Have
- Experience working with D2C, E-commerce, Consumer Tech, EdTech, FinTech, or other high-volume B2C brands.
- Experience scaling video creatives for high-spend performance campaigns.
- Experience with UGC, testimonial, influencer, and founder-led content.
- Experience using AI tools for video/content creation.
- Hands-on knowledge of tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Canva, or similar platforms.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
