About the role
Overview
We are looking for a highly capable and hands-on Tech Lead / Vibe Coder with strong expertise in: Python Databricks Data Pipelines & ETL Workflows Cloud-based Data Engineering AI-assisted software engineering
This role requires someone who can work directly with stakeholders, architect scalable data solutions, solve complex business and data challenges, and independently deliver solutions using modern AI-driven workflows.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (4 years) or higher in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
4+ years of progressive experience in Python-based software or data engineering. Strong experience working with Databricks and large-scale data processing systems. Bangalore domicile preferred.
Key Expectations
AI-First Engineering Daily hands-on usage of AI tools for coding, pipeline development, debugging, architecture, testing, documentation, and delivery. Strong exposure to AI-assisted development workflows, coding copilots, agents, and automation tools. Good understanding of AI agentic architecture, orchestration concepts, and modern AI engineering ecosystems. Ability and willingness to independently build and deliver scalable solutions using AI-enhanced workflows.
Technical Leadership Work directly with stakeholders, product teams, analysts, and clients to understand and refine business and data requirements. Lead technical discussions, architecture planning, estimations, and delivery execution. Take ownership of end-to-end solution delivery and technical decision-making.
Data Engineering & Architecture Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows. Develop robust data processing systems using Python and Databricks. Work with structured and unstructured datasets across cloud environments. Build reliable ingestion, transformation, validation, and monitoring workflows. Strong understanding of distributed data processing, data modeling, and performance optimization. Experience integrating data from APIs, databases, files, and external systems. Exposure to cloud platforms and modern data engineering ecosystems.
Engineering & Delivery Strong expertise in Python programming and clean, maintainable coding practices. Experience working with Databricks, Spark, and large-scale data processing frameworks. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and engineering best practices. Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills for handling challenging requirements. Strict adherence to delivery timelines with strong planning and execution discipline.
Communication & Collaboration Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to mentor engineers and collaborate across technical and business teams. Team player with strong ownership and execution mindset.
Preferred Technical Exposure
Databricks, PySpark / Spark SQL, Data Warehousing concepts, ETL / ELT pipeline design, Cloud platforms such as AWS / Azure / GCP, Workflow orchestration tools APIs and data integrations Monitoring and observability for data systems.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹2,100,000.00 per year
