About the role
We are seeking a Director to lead strategic data, AI, and technology transformation initiatives for major CPG and Retail clients. This individual will manage and grow complex portfolios, advise C-suite stakeholders, and shape high-value solutions across commercial, supply chain, and enterprise data modernization priorities.

Responsibilities
- Lead strategic relationships across large CPG and Retail client portfolios, serving as a trusted advisor to CDOs, CMOs, CSCOs, CIOs, and other executive stakeholders
- Develop data, analytics, AI, and modernization strategies tied to measurable business outcomes, including revenue growth, trade effectiveness, forecast accuracy, personalization, and supply chain performance
- Shape and lead solutions across Revenue Growth Management, Trade Promotion Management, pricing and promotion, demand planning, customer 360, and supply chain analytics
- Lead technical solutioning for strategic pursuits, including value cases, solution architecture, executive workshops, proposals, and competitive RFPs
- Partner with sales, delivery, and alliance teams—including Databricks, Snowflake, and hyperscaler partners—to identify, shape, and advance new opportunities
- Develop compelling thought leadership, client POVs, demos, and market narratives around CPG data, AI, GenAI, and modernization
Requirements
- 12+ years of consulting, technology advisory, data/analytics, AI, or digital transformation experience, including substantial work with CPG and/or Retail clients
- Experience leading large, complex client portfolios or transformation programs
- Hands-on fluency with Databricks and Snowflake, plus working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Proven expertise in modern data architecture, data governance, data quality, integration, security, and enterprise data modernization
- Strong knowledge of AI/ML, GenAI, and agentic AI architectures, with the ability to apply these capabilities to commercial and operational use cases
- Demonstrated CPG/Retail domain expertise in areas such as RGM, TPM, demand forecasting, pricing, personalization, customer analytics, or supply chain analytics
- Strong executive presence, consultative selling skills, technical credibility, storytelling ability, and comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment

This posting includes a good faith range of the salary EPAM would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate. The range provided reflects base salary only. Individual compensation offers within the range are based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to: geographic location, experience, credentials, education, training; the demand for the role; and overall business and labor market considerations. Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed. Salary range: $220,000 - $250,000.
