Role Summary
The Customer Service Executive / Host is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience, managing front of house operations, and supporting the restaurant’s administrative and basic accounting tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, a welcoming personality, and the ability to handle operational and clerical responsibilities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly.
- Greet guests warmly and manage seating, reservations, and waiting lists.
- Maintain a professional, friendly, and courteous atmosphere at all times.
- Coordinate with waitstaff and kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow.
- Manage the reception desk and guest entry experience.
- Maintain reservation logs, guest records, and daily seating plans.
- Communicate guest preferences or special occasions to the service team.
- Ensure proper queue management during peak hours.
- Support in organizing events, group bookings, and VIP guests.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain daily operational reports (sales, attendance, reservations).
- Prepare and update staff schedules in coordination with the manager.
- Handle documentation, filing, and record keeping for restaurant operations.
- Coordinate with suppliers for basic administrative follow ups.
- Assist in inventory tracking and stock updates when required.
- Support HR tasks such as onboarding documents, staff communication, and notice circulation.
Accounting Assistance
- Support daily cash reconciliation and POS closing reports.
- Assist in verifying invoices, purchase orders, and delivery notes.
- Maintain petty cash records and expense logs.
- Coordinate with the accountant for monthly statements and audit requirements.
- Ensure accuracy in billings, discounts, and payment methods.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or restaurant operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of accounting or administrative procedures.
- Proficiency in POS systems and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
