What we are looking for

We are looking for a fast, experienced and highly resourceful Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage high-volume hiring across technology, media, editorial, video, content, marketing and digital roles .

This is a hands-on recruitment role. You will spend your day sourcing, contacting, screening and moving candidates through the hiring process quickly .

We regularly manage 10–15+ open positions per week , so you must be able to understand new roles quickly, adapt your sourcing strategy immediately and contact a high number of relevant candidates every day.

You should know how to find talent beyond LinkedIn and Indeed — including GitHub, Stack Overflow, Upwork, freelance marketplaces, portfolio sites, technical communities, journalism platforms, creative communities, social media and niche job boards.

You must be comfortable recruiting both technical candidates and creative/media professionals , and understand how to evaluate different types of talent.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end recruitment across technology, media, editorial, video, content, marketing and digital roles
• Source global talent across different countries, time zones and talent categories
• Build proactive candidate pipelines rather than relying only on job applications
• Contact a high volume of candidates daily and keep pipelines moving quickly
• Quickly understand new technical and non-technical roles and adapt your sourcing strategy
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, GitHub, Upwork, technical communities, freelance platforms, portfolio sites, social media, niche job boards and other relevant channels
• Screen candidates based on CVs, technical experience, portfolios, GitHub profiles, showreels, writing samples, published work and practical experience
• Coordinate interviews, technical assessments, follow-ups and hiring steps with speed and precision
• Maintain accurate candidate pipelines and recruitment records
• Work directly with leadership and hiring managers on urgent hiring priorities
• Continuously identify new sourcing channels and methods to improve hiring speed and candidate quality
• Manage multiple searches simultaneously without losing attention to detail

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on talent acquisition/recruitment experience
• Strong experience recruiting for technology roles , including software engineering, DevOps, QA, AI/ML, data, product or IT
• Experience recruiting for media, editorial, video, content, marketing or digital roles
• Proven ability to manage high-volume recruitment across multiple open positions simultaneously
• Experience sourcing globally across different countries and talent markets
• Strong knowledge of sourcing platforms beyond standard job boards
• Ability to understand technical job requirements well enough to identify relevant candidates
• Ability to assess CVs, GitHub profiles, portfolios, showreels, writing samples, published work and other candidate outputs quickly
• Excellent candidate research and sourcing skills
• Fast thinker, highly organized and proactive
• Comfortable switching between completely different roles and candidate profiles throughout the day
• Able to work independently and take ownership of hiring targets
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly
• Willing to work with urgency and flexibility when required, particularly when hiring globally across different time zones

Fluent English required.

Not the right fit if:

• You mainly come from HR operations, payroll, administration or compliance
• You are uncomfortable with high-volume daily candidate outreach
• You have only recruited through LinkedIn, Indeed or standard job boards
• You have no experience recruiting technical/technology talent
• You have never recruited media, creative, editorial, video, content or digital professionals
• You rely entirely on inbound applications instead of proactive sourcing
• You are uncomfortable learning new technical roles quickly
• You need a slow, fully structured recruitment process to perform
• You are not comfortable managing many different searches at the same time
