Outbound Sales Representative (Business Development)
- Dubai, United Arab Emirates

عن الوظيفة
1. Purpose of the Role
GCID delivers interior fit-out, MEP and joinery projects across the UAE — F&B, retail, clinics, offices and hospitality. Most of our work today comes from referrals and repeat clients. This role exists to build a second, predictable pipeline: proactively identifying companies that are about to fit out a space, reaching the person who controls that decision, and putting a qualified meeting in front of our commercial team.
You are not closing contracts. You are creating qualified first conversations and staying on them until the client issues a formal enquiry (drawings, scope, or a request for a quotation).
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Build and own the prospect database
- Build and maintain target lists in Apollo.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other data sources.
- Enrich records with verified mobile numbers, WhatsApp-reachable lines, emails and LinkedIn profiles.
- Track live and upcoming projects in the UAE — new leases, new trade licences, store openings, brand expansions, permit and tender activity, relocations, refurbishments.
- Keep the database clean, de-duplicated and current. A stale database is a failed database.
B. Outbound prospecting (multi-channel)
- Run daily outbound across cold calls, WhatsApp, LinkedIn and email — high volume, personalised, not spam.
- Open conversations with the people who actually decide: business owners, F&B and retail operations heads, franchise and expansion managers, clinic owners, facility and property managers, project managers, consultants and PMCs, landlord/mall tenant-coordination teams.
- Qualify hard and early: is there a real space, a real scope, a real budget, a real timeline, and are you speaking to the person who signs?
C. Convert conversations into meetings
- Book qualified meetings, site visits and calls for GCID's commercial and technical team.
- Prepare a short brief before every meeting: client, site, scope, budget indication, timeline, competitors involved, decision-maker map.
- Coordinate diaries and make sure the meeting actually happens — confirmations, reminders, reschedules.
D. Follow up until an enquiry lands
- Own the prospect from first contact to formal enquiry (RFQ / drawings / scope issued to GCID).
- Chase persistently and professionally — most fit-out decisions take weeks to months and multiple touches.
- Hand over cleanly to estimation/operations and log everything.
E. Record-keeping and reporting
- Log every call, message, meeting and outcome in Apollo / the GCID CRM. If it isn't logged, it didn't happen.
- Submit a weekly activity and pipeline report: contacts added, touches made, conversations, meetings booked, meetings held, enquiries generated.
- Feed market intelligence back to management: who is expanding, which consultants are active, what competitors are quoting, where we keep losing.
3. Key Performance Indicators
Targets are set on activity for the first 90 days and shift to outcomes thereafter.
Qualified meeting = confirmed decision-maker, identified space, stated or estimable scope, timeline within 3 months.
4. Requirements
Essential
- 1–3 years in outbound sales, telesales, SDR/BDR, lead generation or recruitment cold-calling. Contracting, fit-out, construction, real estate, furniture or building materials experience is a strong plus.
- Genuine comfort with cold calling. This role is roughly 60% phone.
- Fluent, confident business English — clear, warm, and able to hold an unscheduled conversation with a business owner.
- Hands-on with Apollo.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or an equivalent prospecting stack, plus CRM discipline and solid Excel/Sheets.
- Organised and self-directed. You will build your own list, your own day and your own follow-up rhythm.
- UAE-based or willing to relocate. Valid UAE residence visa or transferable status.
Desirable
- Arabic in addition to English.
- Existing UAE network among F&B operators, retail brands, clinics, consultants or PMCs.
- Understanding of how a fit-out project is procured: landlord approval → design → authority approval → tender → award.
- UAE driving licence.
Attributes we actually screen for
- Resilience — you will be ignored, hung up on and told "send me an email" many times a day.
- Curiosity — you ask a second and third question instead of pitching.
- Follow-through — you chase the 7th time when others stopped at the 2nd.
- Honesty in reporting — inflated pipelines cost us more than empty ones.
5. What We Provide
- Apollo.io licence, LinkedIn Sales Navigator (future), business line and CRM access.
- AI-assisted prospecting and research support from GCID's internal systems — list building, company research, project-signal tracking and follow-up drafting.
- Marketing collateral: company profile, project portfolio, trade credentials.
- Direct access to senior management for meetings and technical support. You will never be sent into a client meeting alone and unprepared.
- Structured onboarding on the fit-out sales cycle, our capabilities and our pricing logic.
6. Compensation
- Monthly salary: AED 3000– 4000 per month, based on experience.
- Commission: a percentage of contract value on projects that convert from your sourced enquiries, payable on client payment received.
- Standard UAE benefits: employment visa, medical insurance, annual leave and air ticket per UAE Labour Law.
- Review every quater.
Grand Crest Interior Decoration is an equal opportunity employer. Applications are assessed solely on experience, skills and ability to perform the role.
