Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR Lead with a strong background in the construction industry and hands-on experience with Odoo ERP or other ERP systems. The ideal candidate will oversee all HR operations, ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, manage employee lifecycle processes, and support business growth through effective human resource management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with UAE Labor Law.
- Manage manpower planning and workforce requirements for construction projects.
- Administer payroll inputs, leave management, attendance, and employee records using Odoo ERP or a similar ERP system.
- Coordinate visa processing, labor contracts, Emirates ID, medicals, and other employee documentation.
- Ensure accurate HR reporting and maintain employee databases.
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters professionally.
- Monitor staff attendance and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support management with HR analytics, manpower reports, and strategic workforce planning.
- Coordinate employee training and development initiatives.
- Collaborate with department managers to meet staffing and operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, company policies, and statutory regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of HR experience, preferably in the UAE construction industry.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience using Odoo ERP or another HR/ERP system.
- Strong knowledge of UAE Labor Law, MOHRE regulations, and visa processes.
- Experience in payroll coordination, recruitment, and employee relations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Construction, EPC, MEP, or contracting industry experience.
- Knowledge of HR KPIs and workforce planning.
- Experience managing multicultural workforces.
- Professional HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, PHR, or equivalent) is an advantage.
