Warehouse Manager
Salary : Up to 100K+ (based on experience) + Bonus Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manage r to lead warehouse operations at a high-volume facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for developing teams, driving operational excellence, and improving safety, efficiency, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development for warehouse supervisors and associates.
- Oversee all day-to-day distribution center operations, including receiving, inventory control, warehousing, order fulfillment, shipping, and returns.
- Promote a strong culture of safety while ensuring compliance with OSHA and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, labor utilization, and workforce planning.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation processes.
- Monitor key performance metrics and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce operating costs.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets while maintaining cost controls.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure inventory availability and meet customer service expectations.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, and other operational excellence methodologies.
- Establish performance expectations, conduct employee evaluations, and support ongoing training and development.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing warehouse or distribution center operations.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
- Experience managing inventory, warehouse operations, transportation coordination, and labor planning.
- Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software.
- Experience with cycle counting, inventory audits, and warehouse performance metrics.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety best practices.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and leadership experience.
