Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a night shift travel assignment at a Joint Commission accredited hospital in Las Cruces, NM.

Details

• Inpatient respiratory therapy department at a 199-bed, Joint Commission accredited medical center
• Certified Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI capabilities
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• RRT required
• AHA certifications required (e.g., BLS, ACLS)
• Active NM license required if applicable
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Additional Information

• Orientation takes place weekly on Mondays
• All required certifications must be obtained prior to start date
• All clinical staff on assignment in New Mexico must be fingerprinted before hire; travelers may begin on a 14-day waiver while results are pending, with required supervision during that period
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• Las Cruces is located in the Mesilla Valley of southern New Mexico, offering year-round sunshine, access to White Sands National Park, Organ Mountains, and over 250 miles of hiking and biking trails
