TAQA-Certified Civil Engineer – Temporary Contract
Gulf Technology Contracting and Building Demolition is seeking a highly qualified Civil Engineer to join our team for a demolition project in Abu Dhabi.
Job Details:
- Position: Civil Engineer / Competent Person (CP)
- Contract Type: Temporary – 6 Months (Renewable based on performance and project requirements)
- Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
- Start Date: Immediately
Key Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Mandatory Certification:
- Valid Competent Person (CP) card issued by TAQA Distribution.
- Must hold active designations for both High Voltage and Low Voltage: CP1 (HV) & CP2 (LV).
- Experience: Proven experience in site supervision, demolition/excavation works, and full familiarity with TAQA's Safety Rules and Permit to Work (PTW) procedures.
- Residency: Valid UAE residence visa with the ability to join immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly supervise demolition activities on-site to ensure the protection and integrity of TAQA’s electrical assets (HV/LV).
- Issue, manage, and sign off on Permits to Work (PTW) in coordination with TAQA inspectors.
- Perform site utility line identification and cable scanning prior to and during machinery operations.
