Position Summary

THIS IS A TIME-LIMITEDPOSITIONWITH AN ESTIMATEDDURATION OF 3 YEARS.

This position will serve as a Social/Clinical Research Assistant within the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center (LCCC). This position will be supporting research activities in the Participant Engagement Research Collaboration (PERC) Unit. The position is responsible for coordinating and implementing research procedures across multiple study protocols of moderate complexity. The Social/Clinical Research Assistant applies working knowledge of clinical research practices to support study start-up, data collection, data management, and regulatory compliance activities. The role requires the ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating with investigators, study teams, and internal partners to ensure accurate and timely execution of research activities. Guidance is available for complex or non-routine assignments.


Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.


Management Preferences

  • Experience using Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with electronic data reporting.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Familiarity with electronic data capture systems (e.g. REDCAP or similiar)
