Job description:
Role: Site Engineer (Civil)
Location:Sharjah
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage road and highway construction activities.
- Review drawings, project specifications, and ensure correct site implementation.
- Monitor earthworks, sub-base, base course, asphalt, and pavement works.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, surveyors, and QA/QC teams for approvals.
- Ensure adherence to local authority regulations and safety standards.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and highlight site challenges.
- Verify material tests, compaction results, and asphalt quality.
- Manage manpower, equipment, and ensure cost-effective execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minumum 6 years of proven experience (4 years in GCC) in Civil construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of pavement design, materials, and QA/QC procedures.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management tools.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
