Job Summary

Code Reve is looking for a Senior Full Stack WordPress Developer with 5+ years of professional experience who can handle complex WordPress architectures and develop secure, scalable APIs.

This role requires strong backend expertise along with modern frontend development capabilities. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working on custom solutions for US-based clients and building systems beyond standard WordPress implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch
• Build scalable backend architectures using PHP & MySQL
• Develop and integrate custom REST APIs
• Create secure third-party API integrations (CRMs, payment gateways, SaaS tools)
• Convert Figma/XD designs into responsive, pixel-perfect websites
• Customize and extend WooCommerce functionality
• Optimize website performance, scalability, and security
• Manage website deployments, migrations, and server configurations
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues

Required Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of experience in WordPress Development
• Strong command of PHP (OOP), MySQL
• Experience building custom REST APIs
• Deep understanding of WordPress core, hooks, filters, theme hierarchy
• Experience with custom post types & Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
• Strong frontend skills (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)
• WooCommerce customization experience
• Experience with API authentication (JWT, OAuth, etc.)
• Knowledge of Git/version control
• Experience working with VPS / Cloud hosting environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Headless WordPress
• Knowledge of React / Vue (for API-based integrations)
• Understanding of SEO & performance optimization
• Experience working with international clients
