Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for Senior Software Quality testing engineers for our clients in the UAE.

Qualified candidates should have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and be passionate about quality.

Tasks & Activities:

• Review requirements and design specifications to highlight any gaps, conflicts, or nonsense requirements.
• Create Test Plans and Test Strategies.
• Design Test Scenarios and Test Cases.
• Generate Test Data.
• Perform Functional Testing (Smoke, Sanity, Confirmation, Regression, UI, API, and Database Testing).
• Perform Non-functional Testing (Compatibility, Usability, …etc).
• Perform different testing levels, like Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and System Testing.
• Report and track defects using defect management systems like (Azure, TFS, Jira, etc.).
• Working with all project managers and stakeholders to ensure that the quality metrics are reviewed, closed, and agreed upon.
• Ensuring all development tasks meet quality criteria through test planning, test execution, quality assurance and issue tracking.
• Ability to create different type of reports.

Qualifications:

• University Degree in a relevant major.
• 5+ years of work experience in quality control and software testing.
• Professional certificates are a plus.

Skills & Languages

• Capable of leading UAT sessions with senior business management.
• Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to details and must be a critical thinker.
• Decision-making skills.
• A professional and positive attitude.
