Senior Full Stack Mobile Application Developer

About the Role

The Senior Full Stack Mobile Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile applications and backend services. You will lead end-to-end mobile app development — from UI/UX implementation and API integration to cloud deployment and production support — within a fast-paced FinTech / Digital Payments environment.

This role requires strong technical expertise in Flutter, React Native, Android/iOS development, RESTful APIs, cloud platforms, and database management, combined with a deep commitment to security, compliance, and user-centered design.

Key Responsibilities

Mobile Application Development

· Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter or React Native

· Implement responsive, intuitive, and accessible mobile UIs following modern UI/UX principles and design systems

· Develop and maintain native Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) modules as needed

· Optimize mobile application performance, startup time, and memory usage across device types and OS versions

Backend & API Development

· Build and integrate RESTful APIs and Microservices for mobile front-end consumption

· Design and manage scalable backend services using modern frameworks and cloud-native architectures

· Handle asynchronous operations, data caching, and efficient API communication patterns

Security & Authentication

· Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms:

o OAuth 2.0

o JWT (JSON Web Tokens)

o Single Sign-On (SSO)

o Biometric Authentication (fingerprint, face ID)

· Enforce secure coding practices aligned with PCI-DSS and banking security standards

Third-Party Integrations

· Integrate essential third-party services including:

o Payment Gateways

o SMS/OTP Services

o Push Notifications (Firebase, APNs)

o Identity Verification & eKYC Solutions (Regula, Daon, Smart Engines SDKs)

o Apple Pay & Google Pay

o QR Payments & NFC Payments

Database & Cloud Management

· Work with relational and NoSQL databases:

o PostgreSQL | MySQL | SQL Server | MongoDB

· Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure (or equivalent cloud platforms)

· Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment workflows

Testing, Quality & Deployment

· Perform unit testing, integration testing, and UI testing to ensure application reliability

· Conduct performance tuning, memory profiling, and load testing

· Participate in UAT/SIT environments for release management and defect resolution

· Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution support

Collaboration & Leadership

· Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, QA teams, and business stakeholders

· Participate in code reviews and enforce development standards and best practices

· Mentor junior developers, guide technical decision-making, and contribute to team growth

· Prepare and maintain technical documentation, API references, and architectural guidelines

· Stay current with mobile development trends, FinTech innovations, and platform updates

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education & Experience

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)

· 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack mobile application development

· Proven experience building and deploying cross-platform mobile apps using Flutter or React Native

· Strong portfolio of end-to-end mobile applications delivered to production

Technical Skills

· Expert proficiency in Flutter/Dart and/or React Native/JavaScript/TypeScript

· Strong knowledge of native Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) development

· Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, and asynchronous programming

· Solid experience with secure authentication (OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSO, Biometric)

· Experience integrating payment gateways, push notifications, and eKYC SDKs

· Strong database skills: PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB

· Cloud deployment experience on Microsoft Azure

· Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices

· Knowledge of PCI-DSS compliance, data encryption, and secure data storage

· Experience integrating Apple Pay, Google Pay, QR Payments, and NFC-based payments

· Hands-on experience with Regula, Daon, or Smart Engines identity verification SDKs

· Experience with PCI-DSS compliance and financial data security standards

· Background in Digital Wallets and Super App architectures

· Experience in Microservices Architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

· Exposure to AI-powered mobile applications, chatbots, and recommendation engines

· Familiarity with multi-language UI support (English/Arabic)

· Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, XCTest, Flutter Test) and TDD/BDD practices
