Senior Electrical Engineer

Role Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced (DEWA, SEWA Certified) Senior Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will lead electrical design, site execution, and project coordination, ensuring high-quality delivery in line with project requirements and international engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage electrical engineering works from design to project completion
• Prepare, review, and approve electrical drawings, calculations, and technical submissions
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and suppliers
• Supervise site installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
• Monitor site progress to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to project schedules
• Attend project coordination meetings and provide technical support
• Identify and resolve technical issues and propose effective solutions
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and site staff

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• DEWA / SEWA certified.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in construction or MEP projects
• Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution, lighting, earthing, and ELV systems
• Advanced skills in Autodesk and other electrical design software
• In-depth understanding of UAE building codes, regulations, and authority submission processes
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
• Professional certification or engineer registration is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
