Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Sales Engineer – Pumps to join our growing team. This is a specialized technical sales role requiring hands-on experience in pump selection, application engineering, and project sales. We are seeking a professional who can contribute immediately and has a proven track record in the pump industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and end users.
- Promote and sell pumping solutions across commercial and industrial projects.
- Prepare technical pump selections, quotations, and commercial proposals.
- Interpret pump duty points, system requirements, and hydraulic calculations.
- Provide technical support throughout the sales cycle, from inquiry to project award.
- Lead technical-commercial discussions, negotiations, and order closing.
- Follow projects through technical approvals, pricing, and execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in technical sales of pumps with a pump manufacturer or authorized distributor.
- Strong knowledge of pump applications, including:
- Building Services
- HVAC
- Irrigation
- Firefighting Systems
- Wastewater Systems
- Experience working with leading pump brands such as KSB, Grundfos, Wilo, Xylem, Pentair, Ebara, Armstrong, Patterson, Peerless , or similar.
Solid understanding of:
- Flow and Head calculations
- Pump Curves
- Efficiency
- Motor Power
- NPSH
- Shut-off Head
- Operating Range
- Experience with pump types including:
- Vertical Multistage Pumps
- End Suction Pumps
- Split Case Pumps
- Submersible Pumps
- Booster Sets
- Fire Pump Packages
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage projects from inquiry through technical approval and final order.
