Job Title: Recycling Center Team Member (Cashier + General Labor )

Location: Antioch, CA (On-site)

Job Type: Part-time or Full-time available

Pay: Starting at $18/hour

Job Description:

We’re looking for a reliable, hard-working team member to join our recycling yard crew at Pavel’s Recycling. You’ll be the backbone of our daily operations — helping keep the site running smoothly, clean, and efficient.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting customers with unloading and sorting recyclable materials
• Dumping small bins of aluminum, plastic, and glass into larger bags
• Crushing glass safely using equipment
• Loading and unloading the truck with full bags of sorted material
• Sweeping and keeping the site clean and hazard-free
• Helping weigh, count, and label materials when needed
• Occasionally helping with basic maintenance or securing the area

What we’re looking for:

• Dependable and on time
• Able to lift ~50 lbs repeatedly
• Comfortable working outdoors in heat/cold
• Team player who takes pride in hard work and helping people
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
• No experience needed – we’ll train the right person!

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
