About the role
Ebersole Management is looking for an experienced, well-rounded Maintenance Technician to help maintain residential and some commercial rental properties throughout Central PA.
This is a hands-on, road-based position for someone who is comfortable handling a wide variety of repairs and maintenance work, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, general troubleshooting, and occasional remodeling projects.
Our properties are located between Carlisle, Palmyra, and Elizabethtown, PA. None of the properties are located in the City of Harrisburg.
Responsibilities
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for completing maintenance and repair work at rental properties, including:
- General property maintenance and repairs
- Carpentry repairs
- Basic plumbing repairs
- Basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs
- Drywall patching and painting
- Door, trim, cabinet, and hardware repairs
- Appliance troubleshooting and replacement assistance
- Turnover repairs between tenants
- Light commercial property maintenance
- Occasional remodeling-related work
- Communicating clearly with the office, tenants, and property managers
- Keeping accurate notes, photos, and updates on work completed
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is experienced, dependable, and able to work independently throughout the day. The ideal candidate should be able to diagnose problems, make quality repairs, and know when something needs to be escalated.
A strong candidate will have experience in several of the following areas:
- Carpentry
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Drywall
- Painting
- Flooring
- Doors and windows
- General handyman/maintenance work
- Rental property maintenance
- Light remodeling
Requirements
- Prior maintenance, construction, remodeling, or handyman experience required
- Must be well-rounded and comfortable with multiple trades
- Valid driver’s license required
- Reliable transportation required to start
- Ability to travel between properties throughout the workday
- Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks
- Must be dependable, professional, and detail-oriented
- Must have basic tools for common maintenance work
- Ability to lift materials, use ladders, and perform physical work as needed
Schedule
This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work week.
Most of the workday will be spent on the road traveling between maintenance calls and properties.
Pay
$25–$30 per hour, depending on experience.

About the Position
This is not a desk job and not a single-location maintenance role. This position is best suited for someone who enjoys being hands-on, solving problems, and moving between different properties throughout the day.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in doing quality work, communicates well, and can represent our company professionally while working in occupied homes, vacant units, and commercial spaces.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
