Primary STEAM Teacher (Science & Social Studies) – Grades 2 to 5

The ORCHID School is seeking a passionate, creative, and dedicated Primary STEAM Teacher to teach Science and Social Studies (Grades 2–5). The ideal candidate should be able to deliver engaging, hands-on, and concept-based learning experiences that develop curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in young learners.

Job Overview:

This role focuses on integrating STEAM (Science, Technology, Arts, and Mathematics) methodologies into classroom teaching, making learning interactive, practical, and student-centered.

Eligibility Criteria & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, Social Studies, or related field
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in primary classes (Cambridge System preferred)
• Strong understanding of Science and Social Studies concepts for Grades 2–5
• Knowledge or willingness to implement STEAM-based learning approach
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to create engaging, activity-based, and experiential lessons
• Creative mindset with strong lesson planning abilities
• Passion for teaching young learners and supporting their overall development

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Science and Social Studies to Grades 2–5 students
• Apply STEAM methodology in daily classroom teaching
• Design interactive lesson plans, activities, experiments, and projects
• Develop students’ curiosity, creativity, and analytical thinking
• Maintain student academic records and monitor progress regularly
• Create a positive, disciplined, and engaging classroom environment
• Participate in school events, trainings, and academic planning sessions
