Preschool Assistant Teacher

Job Summary:

Kiddie Adventures is new to the area of Renton. We are seeking a loving, reliable, dedicated assistant teacher for our preschool classroom. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education, behavior management and have a passion for children's social and emotional learning.

Responsibilities:

- assist with implementation of age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes exploration and discovery

-Promote social and emotional development by using developmentally appropriate language to support children.
- Manage classroom activities and daily routines effectively
- Provide individualized attention to each child to support their unique needs
- Collaborate with parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children
- Utilize positive behavior management techniques to encourage positive social interactions

Qualifications:

- Degree/Certificate in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with children in a preschool setting is a must.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
