Physical Therapist

Description

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a large acute care facility and be a team player who provides exceptional care to our patients in Morristown, NJ.

Principal Accountabilities

• Patient evaluation and establishing plans of care and treatment programs.
• Providing interventions and patient and family education.
• Documenting interventions and billing appropriately.
• Supporting Lead Clinicians in competency development and implementation.
• Participating in the orientation of new staff members.
• Serving as a clinical instructor for students.
• Exercising independent judgment in moderately complex cases with minimal supervision.
  
  

Skills

• Experience in Acute Care in a large academic medical setting preferred.
• Preference for candidates with successful clinical affiliation with Atlantic Health.
• Board Certification as Specialist in a suitable area for acute care setting preferred.
  
  

Education

• New Jersey License to practice Physical Therapy.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy academic program.
• 0-4 years of experience as a Physical Therapist strongly preferred.
