Pharmacy Technician (Part-time)

Pine Hill Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
• Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; removing outdated drugs
• Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service to patients by answering questions and resolving issues
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and pharmacy policies

Experience:

• Pharmacy Technician experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and patient service skills

Shifts:

• We are open 8am - 6pm Monday through Friday and 8am - 12pm (noon) on Saturdays
• We can work with the candidate to see what best works for everyone.
• Once trained every third Saturday 8am - 12pm (noon).
• Closed all major holidays and Sunday

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
